Arranged by Kailash for the birth centenary of the guru of their founder, an evening of sitar recital by Sri Ramprapanna Bhattachayya and vocal recital by Sri Ulhas Kashalkar took place at the G D Birla Sabhagar on 25th September 2012.
Ulhasji was resplendent in his repertoire when he opened his presentation with raag Gauti in vilambit Jhumra taal. He then moved on to raag Chhayanat and after a tarana, concluded the program with a short bandeesh on raag Bhairavi in teentaal.
